This Little Giant Welded Hardboard Over Steel Top with Lower Shelf Workbench is reinforced with angle iron on the underside and gussets in the corners for exceptional strength and rigidity. Hardboard surface can help cushion shocks, and reduce vibration to equipment. It will also help to deaden the sound of heavy blows and metal to metal contact. Hardboard is a more forgiving surface than steel and will help protect parts. The legs and lower braces are 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/16 inches thick. Legs have 2 inch square footpads with 9/16 inch hole for mounting to the floor. It has an overall height of 36 inch and features half depth 12 gauge lower shelf with lip at rear that provides room for additional storage while leaving ample room for legs when seated. The half-lower shelf has a capacity of 500 pounds. This Workbench has capacity of 3000 pounds and is available in different sizes.
